Yeah, after 34 days aboard I finally got to go ashore and pee on some grass. It was wonderful being able to walk around and smell new things. And all the dogs here on Easter Island are very friendly. I've met some great new friends and all they want to do is play - none of this posturing, growling, annoy the new dog in town routine. We've
been on some big walks around the town and out to see some large stones. (Why are these uprights always looking at rocks?) After a couple of days of that I was starting to feel a little tired but we then spent a couple of days without getting off the boat and noone got much sleep since everything was being tossed all over the place. At least I've got the most comfortable bed on the boat, low down in the middle where the motion is less. I gather from the activity around the boat that we'll be leaving sometime soon. I'm starting to figure out this boat lifestyle - lots of sailing, a few days in port and then off again. I wonder where we're off to this time?
Hey, Jessie I bet that you are off to Robinson Crusoe Island after a stop over to Alejandro Selkirk Island. And then, I foresee Valpairaiso:) I wonder if you were allowed to use the big rocks on Easter Island to pee on.
You have quite the life girl!
